Herd Tennis Travels to New York for Two Matches

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Tennis Team (6-6) continues the season with a pair of matches in the Empire State this weekend. The Herd is set to play Columbia on Friday and at Wagner on Saturday.

The Herd split a pair of matches in Lynchburg, Virginia, last weekend falling to Liberty and defeating ECU.

Polina Gumeniuk moved to a perfect 7-0 record at number two singles with victories in both contests.

Alina Mokrynska also captured another pair of wins at number three singles over the weekend to move to 9-1 in the spring.

At number one singles, Johanna Strom sits at 6-2 in 2026.
