HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The 10th-seeded Marshall University Tennis Team (12-10) is set to start the Sun Belt Conference Tournament against seventh-seeded Louisiana on Thursday.

The Herd closed out the regular season with a 4-1 win over Miami (OH).

Strom is 11-3 this spring in singles after clinching the match against the RedHawks, including 10-3 at the number one position. The native of Stockholm, Sweden, sits in the top 10 in program history with 86 singles wins, top 15 with 152 overall wins and top 25 with 66 doubles victories.

At the number two singles position, Polina Gumeniuk sits with 11-2 record during the spring.

Alina Mokrynska sports a 13-4 record at number three in 2026.

The Ragin' Cajuns finished the regular season 13-5.

Louisiana went 3-1 against SBC opponents with wins over Southern Miss, Georgia Southern and Troy.
