Herd Women’s Golf Taking Swing At Golfweek/Stifel Women’s Spring Challenge

Caledonia Golf & Fish Club is the host for the Herd at Pawley’s Island this week
PAWLEY'S ISLAND, S.C. – Marshall Women's Golf is on the course and competing in the 2026 Golfweek/Stifel Women's Spring Challenge this week at Caledonia Golf & Fish Club in Pawley's Island, S.C.
The tournament got underway on Monday morning with the Herd taking the course for first-round action.
The 54-hole event is scheduled to feature 18 holes per day, weather permitting. Tuesday's second round will see the Herd tee off starting at 8:50 a.m. from Hole No. 10 in the 19-team event.
Competing for the Herd this week are Olivia Kochan, Madison Borders, Maddi Hudson, Savannah Hawkins and Abbey Bull. Taylor Sargent is competing as an individual.
After Day One, Kochan and Borders lead the Herd's effort with a pair of 5-over 76s. Each player made four birdies on the afternoon.
Kochan started her day with a pair of birdies while Borders went 1-under on her final seven holes to take momentum into Tuesday's second round.
