Marshall Women’s Golf Competing In Rocket Classic

Borders leads Herd into event at Highland Meadows C.C.
SYLVANIA, Ohio – Marshall Women's Golf heads to Highland Meadows Country Club this week to compete in the 2026 Rocket Classic, hosted by the University of Toledo.
The 54-hole event gets underway with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. on Monday with 36 holes of continuous play. Tuesday's final round also will be a 9:30 a.m. start.
"We had a good start to our season last week and we want to keep that momentum," Marshall Women's Golf coach Brooke Burkhammer said. "We look forward to competing this week at Highland Meadows."
Marshall is one of seven teams competing in this week's event.
Competing for the Herd are Madison Borders, Savannah Hawkins, Maddi Hudson, Anna Grace Brown and Taylor Sargent.
Borders returns to the course looking to continue her success after a T-5 finish in last week's Tribe Invitational.
