2022 Sun Belt Second-Team
Appeared in and started in all 19 matches for Marshall…Finished the Sun Belt as the league’s leader in shots (68), shots per game (3.58)...Finished eighth in the league with 17 points and ninth with seven goals…Scored game winning goal in overtime against App State in Sun Belt Tournament…Played 1,598 throughout the season…Finished season with three assists…Earned 2022 Sun Belt Second-Team honors.
2020-21 (JUNIOR)2021 Third-Team All-Conference USA
One of six Marshall women’s soccer student-athletes start all 16 of the team’s matches, seeing 1,352 minutes on the pitch…finished tied for the team lead and tied for seventh in Conference USA with five goals…led the Herd with 53 shots, 23 shots on goal and 11 points…was three-for-three on penalty kicks this season…recorded a goal in a win at Youngstown State (Sept. 2)…tallied a goal on a season-high seven shots in a win over Akron (Sept. 5)…scored a goal and had an assist in win over VMI (Sept. 12)…fired a season-high four shots on goal in a season-high 110 minutes against FIU (Sept. 24)…scored a goal in two of the final three games of the regular season at Florida Atlantic (Oct. 15) and at Middle Tennessee (Oct. 28).
2020-21 (JUNIOR)
Appeared in eight matches, making six starts, while seeing 557 minutes on the pitch…recorded a shot in six of eight games played with a season-high five shots occurring against ETSU (Feb. 13)…played 90 or more minutes in four contests, including a season-high 99 against ETSU (Feb. 13)…had one in a matchup with Florida Atlantic (Mar. 5)...had an assist against Middle Tennessee (Apr. 9).
While at East Carolina: Scored her first collegiate goal against Radford in 2018 and helped ECU to its first AAC Tournament Quarterfinal appearance, since 2015, by burying a penalty kick against SMU during the same season.
High School: Attended and played soccer at Pocono Mountain West High School in Pocono Summit, Pa., for four years…was named player of the year, first-team all-state and left her high school as the program’s all-time leading scorer.
Personal: Born July 12, 2000…daughter of Virginia and José Gonzalez…has four older siblings, Mae-lynn, Michael, Jonathan and Heather.
