GP/GS: 24/19 … Strong-armed catcher, split time behind the plate with Katie Adams during abbreviated season due to COVID-19 … Did not play in first eight games of the season, but then caught fire when put into lineup … Became second player in program history (behind teammate Paige Halliwill) to begin playing career with an extra base hit in first five contests, tied for second-longest streak at Marshall: double at Longwood (March 10), double game one at Chattanooga (March 20), two doubles game two at Chattanooga (March 20), double and home run game three at Chattanooga (March 21) and double versus Bellarmine (March 27) … Finished season batting .254, 16 hits, seven runs scored, seven doubles, five home runs, 16 RBI, slugged .603 and threw out six base-runners … Made collegiate debut in game two of doubleheader at Longwood (March 10) and first career hit was a double … First career multi-hit game at Chattanooga (March 20) in game two of doubleheader, 2-of-4 with two doubles and two RBI … First four hits of career all doubles, finally hit first single as part of 3-of-5 day in game three at Chattanooga (March 21), had a 2-run single in the third inning, RBI double in the fifth, and a 2-run home run (first of career) in the seventh and finished with five RBI … Belted two home runs (both three-run shots) and had six RBI, tied for third-most in a game in team history, in game one win at Middle Tennessee (April 9) … Tallied first career runner caught stealing in game four at Middle Tennessee (April 11) … Hit solo home run against Florida Atlantic (April 17) … Threw out two base runners in first game of doubleheader at FIU (April 24) with one in the third and one in the fourth, tied for second-most runners caught stealing in a game in team history … Helped get Herd series win in fourth game at FIU (April 25) with a double and a solo home run, also threw out one base runner … Recorded sixth runner caught stealing of the season in game one at Charlotte (May 7) … Came off the bench to catch in both of Herd’s games at Conference USA Tournament (May 12).

High School: Attended Erie High School … Garnered numerous awards during prep career … Honored as three-time All-State, four-time all-conference, two-time All-Conference Player of the Year (2018-19), 2019 Colorado Coaches of Girls Sports Senior All-State team, 2019 BoCo Preps All-Region team, 2019 BoCo Preps All-Region Player of the Year, 2019 Erie High School Female Athlete of the Year and 2020 Sportswomen of Colorado Award for high school softball … Garnered Academic All-State Honorable Mention … Involved off the field as well in Young Life, Tigers Together, Unified Sports and WEB Leading … In travel ball in the 18u division her team was a Loretta B. Smith Tournament National Qualifier … Participated in the IDT All-Star game in 2018 and 2020 … Lettered in track and field in 2020.
 
Personal: Born Oct. 8, 2001 … Daughter of Robert Sackett and Valerie Anderson … Has an older brother, Gavin, who attends Black Hills State University and a younger sister, Grace, attending Erie High School and plays softball … Father played football his freshman year at St. Cloud State University … Chose Marshall because, “Of the community, coaches and the softball program. When I came to visit I noticed the special community support for athletics and I knew I couldn’t find it anywhere else.” … Undecided on major.
