2011 (Junior):
Appeared in 40 games for the Herd, starting in 19 of them, all of them in center field...recorded eight stolen bases, including two against Ohio March 8...collected a multi-hit game against Ball State March 26.
2010 (Sophomore):
Started in 52 contests at centerfield...tied for third on the team in stolen bases with 18 (ninth in C-USA)...tied for team lead in stolen bases in conference play with six (T-8 in C-USA)...tallied multiple hit games against Seton Hall on Feb. 27and again versus Valparaiso on March 9...notched a five game hitting streak in conference play from April 24 to May 1.
2009 (Freshman):
Started in 22 games in right field and played in 48 contests...led the team with 27 stolen bases on the season on 33 attempts...picked up her first hit as a member of the Thundering Herd against IUPUI going 2-for-3...continued to improve as a player starting the last five games of the season in right field...ranked 25th nationally in stolen bases per game at .56.
Prior to Marshall:
Played her first two years of high school in Arizona at Sunrise Mountain...2005 and 2006 Desert West Region champions...member of the 2006 5A Division II State Champions...named a first team regional selection with 20 stolen bases as a sophomore...played her final two years of high school in Texas at Grapevine...batted .428 as a senior.

Born Melissa Loesing on Feb. 14, 1990...daugther of Tom and Karen Loesing... has two siblings Amanda (24) and Kevin (16)....majoring in healthcare management.
