Haden Maloney

Haden Maloney was hired as an Assistant Athletic Trainer in May of 2022.  He currently works directly with both Men's and Women's Track and Field and Cross Country programs. From 2022-2024, he worked with the Marshall Women's Soccer program. He became certified in Foundations of Dry Needling for Orthopedic Rehab and Sports Performance (SFDN1) in May of 2024.

Prior to joining the staff at Marshall, he was an Athletic Training Resident at Wofford College working with Women’s Soccer, Men’s Tennis, and Women’s Tennis.  During this residency, he took courses that were specific to advanced rehabilitation techniques and skills.  This residency was done alongside other athletic trainers as well as physical therapists taking courses for their Orthopedic Certified Specialist certification.  Through this residency, Haden studied and passed the exam to become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

Haden graduated from Xavier University with a Master's of Athletic Training in 2021.  During his time as an athletic training student at Xavier, he worked with the Xavier Women's Soccer, Women's Basketball and Baseball.  He also did rotations at  Archbishop Moeller High School as well as Madeira High School in Cincinnati, Ohio.

He also graduated from Xavier University with a B.S. in Chemistry in 2019.
