GP/GS: 31/28 … Versatile player with 21 starts in rookie season at third and seven starts in the outfield … Recorded 14 hits, drove in seven, hit two doubles, drew seven walks and stole five bases … First career appearance and start at third versus Tennessee Tech (Feb. 10), recorded first hit (single) and first RBI with a sacrifice fly that gave Marshall the lead, 4-3, after trailing 3-0 … Hit by a pitch, stole a base and scored a run in Herd’s 8-2 win over Missouri (Feb. 17) … Made head’s up defensive play to end the game and preserve the win over Missouri, diving and tagging a player who overran third … Drew two walks and stole two bases against UMass-Lowell (Feb. 17) … Recorded a hit and scored a run against No. 10 Tennessee (Feb. 18) … First two-hit game came against Kent State (Feb. 28) with 2-of-4 performance and scored two runs … 2-of-3 at the plate with an RBI double at No. 20 South Carolina (March 3) … Drove in two runs in Herd’s extra-inning win at UAB (March 10) … Ran out infield RBI single at Louisville (May 2) also scored a run and stole a base.

Personal: Born Dec. 23, 1998 … Daughter of Jake and Mandy Koehn … Has one younger brother Jonah (15) who attends Bondurant-Farrar High School … Father Jake played college football at Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa … Cousin Marshall Koehn was a kicker at Iowa, originally signed in 2015 by the Miami Dolphins, signed by the Minnesota Vikings in 2017, played one game for the Cincinnati Bengals and converted an extra point against the Jacksonville Jaguars (Nov. 5, 2017), currently signed with the New York Giants … Samantha chose Marshall because, “I loved the atmosphere and support from the community.
