Used primarily as a pinch runner during first season...scored 15 runs...made first career appearance in the season opener against Illinois-Chicago Feb. 9....recorded first career steal against Morehead State March 27...played two games in the outfield for the Herd.

Was a four-year letterwinner for head coach Eddie Fisher at Sissonville High...Named to the All-State team in softball as a senior...Also lettered in soccer and basketball...Earned first team All-State honors in soccer as a junior and senior, while being named to the All-Kanawha-Putnam soccer team as a senior...Led Sissonville to state championships in soccer (2002-03) and basketball (2002-03)...Played in the North-South Soccer game as a senior...Won Vince Tyree Sportsmanship Award.
