Saw action in three sets across a pair of matches, including one start…recorded a kill against Idaho (Sept. 15).
High School: Played at and attended Bellbrook High School accumulating 271 kills, a 0.224 efficiency, a 39.4% kill percentage, 57 blocks, 122 digs and second team all-conference twice…was an honorable mention all-district two times, a two-time Thad Camp State Farm Athlete of the Week and the team captain for volleyball in 2022…was a principal's scholar athlete (three-times in volleyball, four-times in swim, once in track)…won the league sportsmanship award for volleyball in 2022 along with the OHSAA Courageous Student Athlete Award (2022-23).
Personal: Born Feb. 18, 2005…daughter of Dana and Nathan Melton…her mother, Dana, ran track at Tulsa, while her father, Nathan, ran track at Southwest Oklahoma State…her aunt, Natalie Tracy, played basketball at Southwest Oklahoma State…chose Marshall because “I wanted to be close to home while still exploring a new area and getting to play the sport I love. I loved the community atmosphere of the campus, and I am excited that Marshall has a medical school. The coaches were supportive of me, and the team was welcoming! I am also happy that I get to play volleyball with my sister in college!”
