2016 (SENIOR): Named to the Conference USA All-Academic team … after recovering from several knee injuries sustained in her freshman and sophomore years of college Jordan Parkhurst became a steady presence and major contributor in the Thundering Herd lineup … since recovering from her injuries she went on to play in 40 matches, starting in 24 of them, collected 40 shots and has scored three goals … scored the game-tying goal and her lone goal of the season vs. Charlotte (Oct. 28) … one of the team leaders in shots (15) … contributed to Marshall’s first win and shutout in the 1-0 victory at Longwood (Aug. 26) … helped shutout ETSU (Sept. 4) to give the Herd its second win of the season … played a role in Marshall 1-0 shutout over UAB (Oct. 7) … a contributor in the Herd’s 1-0 shutout victory over UTEP (Oct. 20) ... named to the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll ... earned the C-USA Commissioner’s Academic Medal for achieving a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or better.
2015 (JUNIOR): Conference USA All-Academic second team ... tied for fifth on the team with six points (3g) ... scored first career goal in 30th minute against Ohio (Sept. 4) ... made her first career start at Appalachian State (Sept. 13) ... scored in back to back road matches (UAB, Oct. 9, Middle Tennessee, Oct. 11) ... scored the Herd’s fastest goal this season (1:58 at Middle Tennessee, Oct. 11) ... appeared in every match, starting 15 ... returned to the pitch this year after sitting out 2014 with an ACL injury suffered in the second game of the season … named to C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll … earned the C-USA Commissioner’s Academic Medal for achieving a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or better.
