High School: Four year starter at forward and midfielder... All-State and Mountain State Athletic Conference honorable mention her freshman year... Her sophomore year Smith was All-State second team and Mountain State Athletic Conference first team... Selected as team captain her junior year and was selected to all Mountain State Athletic Conference team... Senior year team captain as well as first team All-State, first team all Mountain State Athletic Conference, first team all Kanawha Valley, Mountain State Athletic Conference Player of the Year, Kanawha Valley Player of the Year, State Mid-fielder of the Year, Sports Writers Frist Team All-State, and Sports Writers First Team All-State Captain... Skye led her team to the state finals her senior year... Played forward and midfielder for West Virginia Goal Girls and won state championship every year and competed in Region 1 Nationals each year.
