2009-10 (Junior): Recorded all her season-best times at the C-USA Championships in Houston: 50 freestyle (25.12), 100 freestyle (54.12), 200 freestyle (1:59.43) and 100 butterfly (59.04).
2008-09 (Sophomore): Posted top-10 MU-best times in the 100 freestyle (4th, 53.02) and 100 butterfly (5th, 58.22)... both were career-best times, as well as a time of 24.68 in the 50 freestyle... All three career-bests were recorded at the C-USA Championships.
2007-08 (Freshman): Proved to be extremely valuable to the herd in multiple events ... Swam in seven different events at the Conference Championships ... Finished in sixth-place at the C-USA Championships as a member of the 400-yard freestyle relay and fifth in the 800 free relay ... Ranked in the top-five on the team in the 50, 100 and 200-yard freestyle events.
Prior to Marshall: Class 3A state champion in the in the 100-yard butterfly in 2004 and 200-yard freestyle in 2005...Was named Swimmer of the Year in her division in 2004 and 2005...Was a four-year member of the Y-National Team...A scholastic All-American.
Personal: Born July 12, 1989 in Greenville, N.C....Parents are Rick and Melissa Fairbanks...Majoring in biology with a focus in pre-dentistry...A member of the National Honor Society and the Beta Club.
