Bio
2022-23 (Senior): Led the charge for the revamped men's track and field program, advancing to the NCAA Prelims in the 800 ... Raced a 1:52.76 to finish 43rd in the NCAA, qualified following school record 1:48.82 time at UVA Grand Prix, breaking school record set in 1999 ... Finished third at Sun Belt Conference Championships, racing a 1:50.84 ... Also set a personal record in the 1500 at the UNF Spring Break Classic, racing a 3:53.91 ... In total, won four races, including winning the mile at the Marshall Classic, representing the first win on the track for the program in nearly two decades
Prior to Marshall: Armbruster finished his junior season in cross country with a 15th-place finish at the WVSSAC State Cross Country meet and brings a 16:34.07 cross country PR to the Herd. On the track, he focused on the 800 this year, while playing baseball and finished fourth at the WVSSAC Track and Field Championship in the 800, running a PR of 1:56.31.
