2023-24 (Senior) : Competed in 11 meets in final season with the Thundering Herd ... Part of the DMR winning team at the VMI Invitational ... Set a PR in the 1500 at the Outdoor Music City Invite ... Finished career in the 800 and 1500 in the SBC Outdoor Championships
2022-23 (Junior) : Competed in 11 meets in junior season ... Scored a third place finish in the 600 at the Marshall Opener to begin the season ... Scored in a number of relays, including a second place finish in the 4x800 at the Weems Baskins Relays in South Carolina
2021-22 (Sophomore): Followed up impressive freshman season with pair of PR's at the Keydet Invitational...Set a 500 PR of 1:23.30, finishing third...Set 1000 PR of 3:08.07, finishing second
2021-22 Conference USA Academic Medalist: GPA 3.75 or better
2021-22 Conference USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll: GPA 3.00 or better
2020-21 (Freshman): Had a breakout freshman season highlighted by breaking the school’s outdoor 800 meter record which had stood since 2003, when at the outdoor opener in the Charlotte 49er Classic she ran in 2:11.51… became the first athlete in program history to earn All-C-USA honors at the Indoor Championships in the indoor 800m for her 3rd place finish … also was part of the school record breaking Distance Medley Relay squad at the Indoor Championships which earned All-C-USA honors … earned three 1st place finishes in the 800m across the indoor and outdoor seasons … her indoor 800m best of 2:13.61 is under one second from the school record of 2:13.04 … named to the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll and awarded the C-USA Academic Medal for achieving a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or better.
Prior to Marshall: Dotson comes to Marshall as one of the most decorated women’s distance recruits in school history … she comes to Marshall having won 13 State Championships across cross country and track and field, including the 2017 Kentucky HS State XC title … she won the state indoor 800m title all four years of her high school career and won the state indoor 1600m three times, her personal record of 2:12.70 in the 800m was set at the 2020 Marshall University High School Invitational, which also is the meet record, and was ranked 23rd in the nation … holds personal records of 18:53 in cross country and 5:16.13 in the mile.
