Justin Kume joined Marshall University in August 2025 as Director of Student-Athlete Development.
He brings over 15 years of experience in collegiate athletics, including leadership roles at The Ohio State University, Florida State University, Auburn University, and Troy University.
Justin oversees NCAA core guarantees, NIL education, and serves as the administrative liaison to the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
He holds a Master’s degree in Sport Administration from Florida State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Public Affairs from Muskingum University, where he was a three-year varsity football letterman.
He has also completed doctoral coursework in Higher Education Administration at Auburn University.
