Laken Ball joined the Marshall University women's basketball staff as a graduate assistant prior to the start of the 2024-25 season. 

Ball is a native of Beckley, West Virginia and was a student-athlete for Fulks at Transylvania University. A member of the 2023-24 National Championship team, Ball averaged 8.2 PPG across her five seasons in Lexington.
