A two-time All-Southern Conference performer in 1995 and 1996, Jonathan Clark won four individual championships as a member of the Thundering Herd golf team, including the 1996 Marshall Invitational. Clark continued his golfing prominence even after his Marshall career came to a close, spending several years as the club pro at the Sleepy Hollow Golf Club and winning West Virginia Open championships in 2001 and 2012. While playing at Marshall for fellow hall of famer Joe Feaganes, Clark led the team in stroke average for three seasons and his career average of 75.4 strokes per round remains among the best in Thundering Herd history. Clark was inducted into the Marshall Athletic Hall of Fame in 2011.
