Volleyball To Host Two Conference Foes In Weekend Homestand

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. ? The Marshall University women?s volleyball team will host Central Michigan and Northern Illinois in their weekend homestand in the Cam Henderson Center.
On Friday, October 13, the Herd will play host to Central Michigan at 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday, October 14, they will compete against Northern Illinois at 7:00 p.m.
The Herd (3-11, 1-5 MAC) will enter the weekend trying to break their six match losing streak. Central Michigan (4-10, 0-7 MAC) will enter the contest trying to win thier first conference match of the year. Northern Illinois with a record of 8-4 overall and 5-2 in the MAC.
Between games two and three at both home contests everyone in attendance will have the opportunity to win free pizza or a t-shirt. There will be a serving contest and all you have to do is serve the ball over the net and hit one of the prizes on the floor and you get to take it home. Prizes are t-shirts and pizza.
Admission is $5 for adults and $2 dollars for children 17 and under. Marshall students and faculty are admitted free witha valid university ID. Also, the Go Herd is now available through the MU Ticket Office at 1-800-THE-HERD. These season passes allow MU fans to attend any Thundering Herd women?s and men?s soccer match, volleyball match, softball game or baseball game for the one time fee of $40 for adults and $25 for children 17 and under.
