Volleyball Team to Play Host to East Division Leader

Huntington, W.Va. ? The Marshall University women?s volleyball team will host Akron, Wednesday, October 31 at 7:00 p.m.
The Herd (4-15, 2-8 MAC) will enter the weekend after a weekend split. The Herd defeated Central Michigan, 3-2, on the road and then suffered a heart-breaking loss to Western Michigan. Akron (13-4, 7-3 MAC) will enter the contest the first place team in thh East Division.
The first 50 students to the game will receive a free t-shirt. Everyone is encouraged to wear their halloween costume to the event. Between games two and three at both the contest everyone in attendance will have the opportunity to win free pizza or a t-shirt. There will be a serving contest and all you have to do is serve the ball over the net and hit one of the prizes on the floor and you get to take it home. Prizes are t-shirts and pizza.
Admission is $5 for adults and $2 dollars for children 17 and under. Marshall students and faculty are admitted free witha valid university ID. Also, the Go Herd is now available through the MU Ticket Office at 1-800-THE-HERD. These season passes allow MU fans to attend any Thundering Herd women?s and men?s soccer match, volleyball match, softball game or baseball game for the one time fee of $40 for adults and $25 for children 17 and under.
