?To be down 0-2 and come back to win is great,? said head coach Steffi Legall. ?It is always a good victory on the road to fight back. We struggled in serving in the first two games, but we were able to find our composure and pull the match out and win a necessary match on the road.
Marshall was led by Isabell Anderer sophomore/Sinsheim, Germany) who had 24 kills, 18 digs and 1 service ace and Tracey King (sophomore/Miami, Fla.)ended the evening with 18 kills, and 1 block assist. Kristen Bailey (senior/Indianapolis, Ind.) was the setter for the Herd. She had a career night with 53 assists, 8 digs and 1 service ace.
?I am very proud of all the girls for the way they played this evening,? said Legall. ?We had good play out of Tracey and Isabell. You also can?t over look Kristen who was our setter tonight. Kristen stepped up and really showed us her senior leadership when it counted the most.?
