Baseball Set to Host Doubleheader Against West Virginia State

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- The Marshall University baseball team will host a doubleheader against West Virginia State at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6, at University Heights.
Marshall enters the contest with a record of 3-6. However, the Thundering Herd have won three out of their last four contests, with the most recent victory a 4-2 triumph over Wright State University in the Herd?s home opener.
West Virginia State, 1-2, has dropped its last two contests after opening the season with a victory over Northern Kentucky. The Yellowjackets dropped the series finale to NKU and fell to Ohio 12-8 on Tuesday, March 5.
Admission to the doubleheader is five dollars for adults and three dollars for children.
