HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The No. 10-seeded Marshall University Baseball team (23-31) is set to begin the 2026 Sun Belt Conference Tournament on Tuesday against the seventh-seeded Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns at 4 p.m. EST/ 3 p.m. CST in Montgomery, Alabama.

PRE-GAME NOTES

Scheduled starting pitcher Bryce Blevins leads the country with 102.0 innings on the bump with 86 strikeouts, tied for fourth most in the SBC. His eight wins are tied for second in the conference as he sits at a career of 20 with his next one to set the program career record and tie the program single-season.
Evan Bottone leads the conference with 82 hits and a .387 batting average as he ranks in the top 25 nationally in both categories, while sitting second in the SBC at 57 runs scored. Bottone has 28 multi-hit games, including 12 contests with three hits.
AJ Havrilla ranks 14th nationally with 50 walks during the 2026 season and leads the SBC.

Louisiana is coming off a series win over No. 20 Coastal Carolina to end the 2026 regular season.
The Cajuns' pitching staff leads the SBC allowing just 8.09 hits per nine innings.
Louisiana's scheduled starting pitcher Cody Brasch leads the conference and ranks ninth with a 2.24 ERA.
At 14 homers, Jaquae Stewart leads the team and sits third in the SBC as Dawson Stewart leads the team with 52 RBI for fifth most in the conference.
