Marshall Track Set To Compete At MAC Championships This Weekend

The Marshall men's and women's track teams travel to Eastern Michigan University for this weekend's MAC Outdoor Championships. The event, held at EMU's Olds/Marshall Track in Ypsilanti, Michigan, will begin Thursday.
Erin Compton and Casey Batey both return to the MAC Outdoors hoping to defend a MAC Championship. Compton won the Discus last spring with a throw of 152' 1", while also placing eighth in the Hammer. Batey won the 3000 meter Steeplechase on his way to a spot in the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Oregon, last year.
