Herd Track and Field Announces 2026 Outdoor Schedule

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Track and Field program announced its complete 2026 outdoor schedule Wednesday. The Herd will compete in seven meets as a team, culminating with the 2026 Sun Belt Conference Outdoor Championships from Mobile, Ala. from May 14-16.
MU will compete at various power-conference hosted meets in preparation for the SBC Championships and the NCAA East First Rounds hosted by the University of Kentucky from May 27-30. Qualifiers from the East First Rounds move forward to the NCAA Championship Finals from Oregon from June 7-10.
The first meet for Coach Keith Roberts and the Herd starts with the Marshall Opener on Saturday, Dec. 6 from the Chris Cline Athletic Complex.
"I am looking forward to our first meet this season," Coach Roberts said. "After a long fall of training it is always good to get back into the indoor facility and compete against other teams and to reap the benefits of the hard work the team has put in throughout the conditioning and preparation phase. We have many new faces who we think can contribute greatly to our team and a lot of returners who had some success last year and are ready to build on the things that they started last year."

May 14-16 - Sun Belt Outdoor Championship at South Alabama

June 10-13 - NCAA Final Championship - University of Oregon
