Perry Leads Marshall Runners

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - Marshall University senior Andrea Perry (Cannelton, W.Va.) placed first in the 200-meter run (26.57) and second in the 55-meter run (8.36) Saturday at the WVU Holiday Classic.

Perry also recorded a third place finish in the long jump, jumping 17'03.25, while MU sophomore Xavier Richards (Kingston, Jamaica) placed fourth in the high jump (4'11.75).

The Thundering Herd track team will return to action on January 16-17 when the squad travels to Lexington, Ky. to compete in the Kentucky Invitational.
