Men's Golf Team Travels to Ohio State

Marshall University's men's golf team will participate in the Ohio State University's Keepler Invitational Saturday and Sunday at the OSU Scarlet Course in Columbus.
Eighteen teams from across the region are scheduled to take part in the 54-hole tournament. The field includes: Iowa, Michigan, Purdue, Eastern Michigan, Kent State, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Notre Dame, Illinois, Marshall, Northwestern, Kentucky, Kansas State, Indiana, Miami, Ohio State, Toledo and Ohio.
The OSU Scarlet Course is a Par 72 course that carries a rating of 73.9 with a slope of 125. From the championship tees, the course stretches out 7,251 yards.
Huntington sophomore Brad Tweel is Marshall's top player thus far. Tweel leads the team with a 76.00 stroke average.
