Track Completes Indoor Season at MAC Championships

Herron places sixth in long jump.

YPSILANTI, Mich. - The Marshall University track team completed its indoor season on Saturday in Ypsilanti, Mich. at the Mid-American Conference Championships.

Junior Kristin Herron (Frankfort, Ky.) was the top finisher for the Herd with a sixth place finish in the long jump (18-09.00). Also in the field senior Shani Brown (Chicago, Ill.) placed 11th in the shot put with a throw of 43-02.25.

In the 400-meter dash, junior Zedmalia Wolfe (Ontario, Canada) finished seveth with a time of 57.10.

The Marshall track team will next be in action when it opens the outdoor season March 26-27 at the N.C. State Relays.
