Men's Golf Set To Host El Diablo Intercollegiate

CITRUS SPRINGS, Fla. - The Thundering Herd will host the 5th Annual El Diablo Intercollegiate this weekend at the El Diablo Golf and Country Club, a 7,045 yard, par-72 layout. Seventeen teams will participate in the tournament, which begins Saturday morning at 7:30 a.m.
Akron, Ball State, Bowling Green, Eastern Kentucky, Elon, Florida Atlantic, Gardner Webb, Louisville, Marquette, Miami (OH), Rollins, South Florida, West Florida, Wichita State, Winthrop, and Wright State will all be sending teams to Citrus Springs.
Wichita State won last year's tournament with a three round total of 877 (23 under par).
The 36-hole first day begins Saturday morning at 7:30 a.m. The final 18 holes begins Sunday morning at 7:30 a.m.
Marshall's best finish in the event was in 2002, when the Thundering Herd finished 4th with a total score of 886.
