Baseball Versus Miami Pushed To Sunday
4/2/2004
HUNTINGTON, W. Va. - The doubleheader between the Miami RedHawks and the Thundering Herd baseball team scheduled for Saturday has been pushed to Sunday starting at noon, weather permitting.
Originally scheduled for a three-day series, Friday's game was pushed to a doubleheader on Saturday, but due to the inclement weather, the series will be shortened to two games, starting at noon on Sunday.
Game one can be heard on 930 AM WRVC. Steve Cotton, Woody Woodrum and Robert Harper will call the action from University Heights.
Marshall is coming off of a 17-5 loss on Tuesday night at Louisville, which dropped their record to 11-15. They are looking to improve upon their 0-3 MAC record after being swept by the defending Mid-American Conference champion Eastern Michigan Eagles.
Miami comes into the weekend with a 16-9 record. The RedHawks are 2-1 in conference after taking two of three games from Ohio last weekend.
