Herd Travels to Louisville

HUNTINGTON, W.Va.- The Marshall women?s track and field team travels to Louisville, Ky. to compete in the Louisville Invitational, Fri., April 23. Start time for the meet is scheduled at 2 p.m. at Cardinal Park.

During the Herd?s last meet, the team placed second out of nine teams in the Eastern Kentucky University Invitational. Marshall finished the meet with a team score of 109.5.

Junior Zedmalia Wolfe (Toronto, Ontario) led the Herd runners placing second in both the 100-meter dash (12.56) and the 200-meter dash (25.07). Senior Varinka Barbini (Flanders, N.J.) was the top finisher in the distance events, placing seventh in the 5000-meter (19:08.0).
