Kent State Up Next For Baseball

KENT, Ohio - After splitting Tuesday's doubleheader against Morehead State, the Marshall University baseball team will look to earn its first Mid-American Conference win when it takes on the Kent State Golden Flashes in a three-game weekend series.
The Herd (12-18, 0-5 MAC) split Tuesday's doubleheader with Morehead State after being swept in a doubleheader on Sunday by the Miami RedHawks.
Kent State enters the weekend with a 13-16 record, 3-3 in the MAC. The Flashes took the final two games in last weekend's series against the Ohio Bobcats.
Corie O'Bryan (Frederick, MD), this week's MAC East Co-Player of the Week, is looking to keep his five-game hitting streak alive. He batted .769 last week and kept it going against Morehead, earning three hits in the doubleheader.
Kent State took three of four games last season in Huntington, including a 17-9 win to finish off the series.
