Track to Compete in Tenth Annual Miami Invitational

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. ? The Marshall University women?s track and field team will travel to Oxford, Ohio, Saturday to compete in the tenth annual Miami Invitational.

The Herd is coming off a successful weekend at the McDonald Invitational in Athens, Ohio. The Herd finished fourth out of 13 teams at OU, with junior Zedmalia Wolfe leading the Herd by placing first in the 200-meter (25.41), second in the 100-meter (12.66), and fourth in both the 4x100-meter and 4x400-meter relays.

Last season, at the Miami Invitational, the Herd finished in fourth place. Junior Stephanie Eastman placed third in the 800-meter run and senior Shani Brown placed third in the women?s shot put.
