Track Wraps Up Season at MAC Championships

OXFORD, Ohio - The Marshall University track team completed its outdoor season on Saturday in Oxford, Ohio at the Mid-American Conference Chamnpionships.

Junior Zedmalia Wolfe (Toronto, Ontario) led the Herd on the final day by finishing seventh in the 400-meter dash (55.62) and eighth in the 200-meter dash (25.07). Wolfe was also a member of the eighth place 4x400-meter (3:47.57) team along with Kristin Herron (Jr., Frankfort, Ky.), Karmen Collins (So., Slicklerville, N.J.) and Xavier Richards (So., Kingston, Jamaica).

In field events senior Amanda Halsey (Dunkirk, Ohio) placed 12th in the discus with a throw of 124-07. Sophomore Stacie Belzer (Glassboro, N.J.) placed 16th in the discus (123-00).
