Men's Soccer Home Opener Moved To Sunday

HUNTINGTON, W. Va. - Due to the weather conditions, Saturday's home opener for men's soccer against Cleveland State has been moved to 2 p.m. on Sunday.

The Herd (2-3) is looking to get back on the winning track after a 2-1 overtime loss at WVU on Wednesday night.

Cleveland State (2-1) is on a two-game win streak. After falling 3-1 in their opener against Louisville, they earned two straight wins against Alabama A&M and Duquesne.

Last season, MU topped the Vikings, 2-1 in Cleveland.

Marshall is excited about finally being finished with the season-opening road trip and having a home game. "It has been a tough stretch starting on the road, but its great to finally have a home game," Coach Bob Gray said.
