Baseball Announces Time Change For Home Opener

HUNTINGTON, W. Va. - Due to the impending inclement weather predicted for Saturday, the time for the doubleheader against St. Bonaventure has been changed.
With the rain predicted to start later in the afternoon, the starting time will now be at 10 a.m. with the decision to play the second game being made after the completion of the first game.
If the weather does not permit the doubleheader to be played on Saturday, it will instead be played on Sunday with the time to be determined. If both games are played on Saturday, Sunday's game will go on as scheduled at 1 p.m..
The Thundering Herd comes into the weekend with a 2-11 record, falling in four straight games. Aaron Jamieson (Lindsay, Ont.) is still the team leader on offense, batting .367.
St. Bonaventure is 6-1 and has won three straight. Leading the way for the Bonnies is Damian Blakeley, who is batting .517 with nine RBI's.
This will mark the first meeting between the teams.
