Herd Golf Day Set For September 30th

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Marshall men's golf program will hold their annual Herd Golf Day outing on Friday, September 30th, at the Guyan Golf and Country Club in Barboursville.

Format for Herd Golf Day is a foursome/best ball/full handicap. Individuals interested in playing can make their own group or sign up individually.

The cost of the outing is $150 for Guyan members, $175 for non-members, and includes a cart, green fee, a tee gift, prizes, and a post-event reception. Hole sponsorships are also available for $150.

Former Marshall golfers expected to play as of September 15th are Paul Bailey ('75), Bruce Bevins ('98), Greg Booth ('71), Chris Curry ('81), Pete Donald ('67), Jack Egnor ('55), Joe Feaganes ('66), Jack Freeman ('58), Buddy Graham ('59), Arch Griffith ('51), Drexel Meade ('61), Linden Meade ('59), Sam O'Dell ('00), Dick Shepard ('67), George Somich ('65), Mark Sprouse ('69), Jim Ward ('62), and Tom Wilkerson ('49). More ex-Marshall players are expected to sign up before September 30th.
