Hurricane Rita Forces Postponement of Volleyball Match with Tulane

Conference USA officials announced the postponement of several events this weekend due to travel concerns and safety with the threat of Hurricane Rita bearing down on the Gulf Coast.

Marshall's volleyball match with Tulane scheduled for Sunday has been been postponed.

Tulane is being hosted by Texas A&M after being evacuated from New Orleans from the impact of Hurricane Katrina. The match was originally going to be played in College Station, Texas, but with the storm looming on the Texas coast, the game was going to be moved to East Carolina where the the Green Wave was scheduled to play ECU Friday night.

The matches have been cancelled for this weekend because of travel safety and no make-up date has been schedule at this time.
