HUNTINGTON - After coming off its dominating performance Friday at the Cam Henderson Center, the Marshall University volleyball team will be back in action for another home match Sunday against the Rice Owls.

The Thundering Herd (15-9, 7-3 C-USA) had one of its most commanding performances of the season in its 3-0 win Friday night. Marshall's Kelly-Anne Billingy (Trincity, Trinidad) and Kristin Marcum (Arlington, Texas) led the Herd's offense, both scoring in double digit kills.

Billingy, the NCAA leader in kills per game with 6.4, posted a match-high 17, while Marcum recorded 10.

Rice (11-13, 4-6 C-USA) comes into Sunday's match after losing three of its past four. Most recently the Owls fell to East Carolina 3-2 in Greenville, N.C.

The Herd and Rice have only met one time before. Last season Marshall defeated the Owls 3-0 in Houston.

Sunday's match will start at 1 p.m. at the Henderson Center and admission is free.
