Marshall Volleyball Opens Homecoming weekend with UCF

HUNTINGTON - The Marshall University volleyball team will be facing UCF on Friday at 7 p.m. at the Cam Henderson Center for its third straight home match.

The Thundering Herd (16-9, 8-3 C-USA) is currently in second place in the Conference USA standings and winners of six of its last seven matches. Marshall will be facing a UCF (5-16, 1-9 C-USA) team that has lost nine straight matches coming into the weekend.

Marshall's Kelly-Anne Billingy continues to lead the NCAA for the fifth straight week in kills per game. Billingy's average climbed for the third consecutive week to 6.41. She was also named the C-USA Player of the Week for the third time this season.

The Herd will also host Southern Miss on Sunday at 1 p.m. as the final opponent on Homecoming weekend.
