Baseball Adds Game with Nationally-Ranked Virginia

HUNTINGTON - The University of Virginia Baseball Team has cancelled its home game with in-state foe Liberty scheduled for Tues., Mar.21, due to the threat of inclement weather and has added a single game with Marshall that will be played Wed., Mar. 22, at Davenport Field at the UVa Baseball Stadium. First-pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m.
Marshall (8-7) is coming off of a three-game sweep of Cleveland State and enters the contest on a four game winning streak.
Virginia is coming off a three-game sweep of then No. 2 Clemson. The Cavaliers cracked the Top 25 in college baseball polls. UVa is ranked No. 21 by Collegiate Baseball and 24th by Baseball America. Rosenblattreport.com has the Cavaliers No. 22
