Herd Golfer Jonathan Pepe Qualifies For Hooters Tour Event

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Marshall golfer Jonathan Pepe (McKeesport, Pa.) qualified for the Hooters Tour Quicksilver Golf Classic presented by Ameriprise Financial at the Quicksilver Golf Club in Midway, Pa.

Pepe, a rising junior, fired a 74 to clinch one of the ten qualifying spots for the tournament. Twenty-two players were qualifying for ten spots at the 7,083-yard course.

Last season as a sophomore, Pepe played 30 rounds and averaged 77 strokes per round.
