Shepard-Hall Finishes Ninth at the NCAA East Regional Championship

GREENSBORO, N.C.- Sikeetha Shepard-Hall (Houston, Texas) concluded her athletic career at Marshall by finishing ninth in the long jump at the NCAA East Regional Championship at North Carolina A&T State University. Her leap of 20-05.25 improves her previous best jump and current Marshall school record, 20-03, by two inches.

Shepard-Hall missed an at-large bid to the National Championship by one place; finishers six through eight are eligible for at-large bids to the National Championship depending on their place in the national descending order list. The top five finishers are automatically advanced to the National Championship.

Shepard-Hall entered the meet ranked 17th in the region.
