Boukhemis Named to Preseason All-Conference USA Team

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Marshall men's soccer forward Karim Boukhemis (Sr., Huntington, W.Va.) has been selected to the 2006 Preseason All-Conference USA Team. He is one of 11 players to be picked by league coaches to the squad.
Boukhemis was a second-team All-Conference USA pick in 2005. The Thundering Herd ended the season with an 8-9-2 record while finishing in a fourth-place tie and advancing to the Conference USA tournament semifinals. Marshall returns seven of 11 starters and 16 letterwinners from that squad.
SMU, ranked seventh nationally in the preseason poll, is the coaches' pick to repeat at league champion, while South Carolina has been selected second.
