BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - The Marshall men's soccer team's match Sunday at Western Kentucky was cancelled after lightning and thunderstorms halted the game in the 65th minute. NCAA rules stipulate a match must complete 70 minutes to be considered an official match.

The teams were tied 1-1 when the lightning came. Kolby LaCrone (So., Zanesville, Ohio) posted the Thundering Herd's goal.

Marshall (2-2-1) plays Ohio Valley at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Sam Hood Field in Huntington.
