Marshall Volleyball Set to Begin Two-Match Road Swing

TULSA, Okla. - The Marshall University Thundering Herd volleyball team will begin its second weekend of Conference USA play Friday and Sunday. First up for the Herd (10-7, 2-1 C-USA) will be a visit to the University of Tulsa to take on the Golden Hurricane (16-3, 3-0 C-USA) Friday, Sept. 29 at 8 p.m. EDT.
The Herd is coming into the match up with the Golden Hurricane off a week of two wins in three matches.
Marshall's Kelly-Anne Billingy earned the C-USA Offensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive week and is the NCAA's leader in kills per game with an average of 6.34 and is 16th with 0.68 aces per game. As a team, Marshall ranks 29th in the nation with 16.08 kills per game.
On Sunday, Oct. 1 at 2 p.m. EDT, the Herd will be in Dallas to take on SMU (10-6, 1-2 C-USA) in the weekend's final match.
