Marshall Baseball To Host Green/Black World Series

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Marshall University baseball team will host its Green/Black world series with first-pitch to be thrown Friday, Oct. 12 at 3:00 p.m. at the Kennedy Center on Route 2.

Junior left-hander Andrew Blain will start Friday's game for the Green while newcomer Steve Blevins, a right-handed transfer from the University of Cincinnati, will get the start for the Black squad.

The Herd continues play on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. Getting the start for the Green will be junior left-hander Ryan Kiel. Taking the hill for the Black will be junior south-paw Sam Freeman.

The Herd conclude Green/Black action Sunday with first-pitch to be thrown at 11:00 a.m. Pitchers for both sides are yet to be determined.
