Billingy, Fleming Named To AVCA All-Midwest Region Team

Billingy earned the award for the fourth consecutive year, an honor which no other player in
"Being named a four-time All-Region player shows that Kelly has had probably the greatest individual career for a volleyball player at Marshall University and it was a privilege to be a part of it," head coach Mitch Jacobs said of the senior.
Billingy led the team in kills for the fourth straight year with 567, and finished her career at
"Following in Kelly's footsteps is Liz Fleming," Jacobs said. "We are very excited to see the level our offense can get to with Fleming's hands on the ball."
Fleming earned both awards in her first season running the offense. She tallied 1,642 assists including an impressive 13.35 assists per game mark which helped lead the Herd to its second Conference
"The greatest thing about these two is that they are the epitome of student-athletes," Jacobs added. Fleming is currently in the prestigious Yeager Program at
Senior Stephanie Cahill earned All-Region Honorable Mention honors. The outside hitter tallied 436 kills and registered 343 digs to help lead
"Steph making All-Region Honorable Mention is a nice finish to her career," Jacobs said. "But in my opinion, she has been the MVP on our floor for all four years."
Fleming garnered four C-USA Player of the Week awards, while Billingy and Cahill each earned two on the season.
