Track to Compete in Akron Open

Akron, Ohio - Marshall University's women's indoor track team will participate in the Akron Open at the University of Akron Field House Saturday.

More than 1,100 athletes will complete in the event, including athletes from schools such as Akron, Ohio State, Kent State, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Youngstown State, Bucknell, St. Francis (Pa.), Western Carolina, Appalachian State, Maryland-Eastern Shore, Detroit-Mercy, IP-Fort Wayne, Marshall, Oakland, Duquesne, Valparaiso and Winthrop.

Live scoring of the Akron Open is available online through the University of Akron's athletics website www.gozips.com.
